Super good coffee and very nice staff

I am amazed by some of the reviews here. The brew bar is not a café, dear folks. This location is primarily a coffee roastery, which also offers the opportunity to enjoy a fine, caffeinated hot drink on site or to take it with you as a 2-go variant. To go with it - there are usually some delicious pastries. But that's not the claim. The focus is not on long opening times and a rich menu ... I also cannot understand if this evaluation option is used emotionally to enforce one's own individual taste as a penalty at the expense of the brewing bar. You just don't have to argue about taste. It can be completely different. I've tried pretty much everything that's on offer there. This is of course individual / different in terms of taste, but rationally everything is top-quality, fresh, neatly packaged, presented, etc. Since I'm the only espresso drinker in the household, I always take the practical 200 g pack with me. Have it ground very finely through the mill on site and then the valuable "stuff" for my portafilter is filled into such a package - as I have recorded in the attached photo. This pack then lasts about 1 week - the aroma stays fresh and then there is a replenishment ... I appreciate the high level of expertise of the founder / owner, the quality (only Arabica and organic) and the courteous manner in which you are advised and served there. And as far as I know, the increasing number of commercial customers (gastronomy, hotel industry) also proves that price u. Performance just fit. My CONCLUSION: A clear tip.

Seriously disappointed. Got 2 coffee beans, Lindenau and Gohlis. Since a premium price is charged here, I also expect a premium product, but that's not it. The smell is very strange, after grinding the coffee smells even more strange, almost like tobacco. Loads extremely statically on what I've only had 1-2 times with other coffees. The taste is, well, you can drink it, but that's it. This taste, which I also get from other standard department store brands, does not at all justify the high price. In addition, why is it 200g and not 250g, is that a new stitch? It's a shame, I like to support local craft.

For me the best shop in Leipzig for excellent coffee from our own production. Here is roasted itself and there are also numerous bright roasts on offer. The combination is unique in Leipzig. Owners and employees are passionate and super competent. Really fair in price. Anyone who wants to try something other than dark standard roasts and also want to support local roasting should definitely go here!

Nice little roaster ☕️ You can both drink coffee ☕️ and buy beans. There is a nice selection. You can choose from various preparation methods for on-site drinking ?. Unfortunately, the roastery is still open on Sunday ? But definitely worth a visit on weekdays ???

A bit overrated in my opinion. The coffee is good, but not that special to be so expensive. But if you are a coffee specialist and gourmet then taste it. The opening times are by the way very unusual.

I have been a very satisfied customer of Peter and his team for a few years now. I've been working with you for a few months now as well. Every time there is a nice conversation and of course delicious coffee drinks! The cappuccino is always a treat! Not to mention the beans that you take home or, as in my case, your own café! Brilliant spot for a coffee. Visited after having a colleague recommend the place and he was spot on - really good coffee and a knowledgeable, friendly barista in a comfortable setting. A couple of choices on the brew bar - my Kenyan started out with the taste of English Breakfast and cooled beautifully, tasting like a Cadbury's Crunchy (chocolate-covered honeycomb) - as well as a couple of choices on espresso. Plenty of options to take home too! Well worth a visit.

Charming little place that roasts their own coffee. My flat white was very tasty, there was a choice of two varieties, and my partner was extremely happy with his filter coffee. A look at the shelves showed a wide range of beans to take home. Will return the next time I'm in Leipzig

So happy that I found this wonderful place in Leipzig. Got me out of my bad german coffee depression. Very kind and knowledgeable owners and the coffee was so very good?? On offer are traditional coffees, filters, pour over, drip etc. you name it. Will be back!

Really good coffee! - Mainly lightly roasted, with a great fruity aroma. My favorites are mixes # 3 and # 5. Also the mixture east, which was created especially for the Analog Café / Bar, was able to convince completely. The owner burns for the topic of coffee and likes to inform you about the origin, cultivation and processing of the beans. In addition to excellent espresso you also get here pour-over, aeropress and siphon. In addition, the Brühbar always convinces with consistent quality. We recommend!

Great coffee place. I've been looking for a craft coffee shop in Leipzig and so far this is one of the only ones I've found. They care about their product and roast their coffee in house, in addition to pouring it by hand when you order. It's the best I've had in Leipzig so far, both the beans and the poured coffee, and it it weren't so far out of my way, I'd be visiting much more often. In any case, definitely recommended :)

They are very serious about their coffee and provide great advice and options. Coffee was a very traditional Italian type blend. Not my thing. Otherwise a great coffee place.

Amazing coffee; roasted, ground, and brewed right in the same location! The owner personally roasts every batch himself, and I've even seen him hand-picking individual beans out of his roast when they don't meet his standards. All the staff speak English as well, which is a big plus for me! Definitely visit this shop if you LOVE coffee!
